Nope, thrust clearance measured .005" (~.13mm) the first time I fixed it. Spec is .002-.009". I'm certain there is some issue related to thrust though, as I had to bend the trigger plate to clear the sensor when I fixed it (despite thrust measuring in spec) and when it happened again this second time the clutch pedal went straight to the floor when it broke which is indicative of the crank moving.

Hey i dont want to be captain obvious or anything but ur not putting the crank sensor in back to front are u? e.g flipped 180deg out? i cant remember off the top of my head i they are symmetrical or not.

My first few years of Evo ownership were in a garage barely larger than the car. I'd have to choose which side of the car I wanted to work on and move it to the opposite side of the garage to make enough room. Still had a ton of fun working on the car.
