The RS was quite understeery in comparism and didnt drive off the corner anywhere near as good. probably .5 to 1sec a lap slower depending on the track. The Cusco was just point and shoot on exit it was great. the RS diff tended to understeer alot more

In saying the Cusco was point and shoot i never got any oversteer or opposite lock moments on exit either i could just hit the apex open the wheel slightly and boot it and it would track where i pointed the nose. Ive just purchased another to go in my RS diff im setting up cause i liked it that much.

One might say, if you don't have enough rear diff, the car will tend to push on exit throttle. If you don't have enough front diff, the car will tend to oversteer on exit throttle.

If you dont have enough of both, the car my snap understeer to snap oversteer in unpredicable ways. Ask me or Marshal how we know

I have the gymkhana rear diff and 1way clutch front on the way but its been slow waiting for new production runs from Japan. Front should ship next week and Rear 1-2 weeks later.

gymkhana rear diff? is that the super aggressive cusco 1-way with 55 degree ramps? and switching to a 1.5 rs?

With the power you make, you should log your wheel speed. Front inside tire with high power on track can spin up a lot from what Dan at PA has told me. He's making the change to clutch front as well last I heard.

Yep, thats the rear diff Im running. High preload but lifting an inside rear on turn with high grip, high rear rates, and high caster will let me actually turn and car will put power down as Im adding power with the inside rear still unloaded.

Did you ever have a TRE Maxlock setup? If so, how did the OSG and Cusco compare?

You know it's bad when the trick to going faster is by using less throttle on corner exit. the new diffs should be fun.

HI gents,So I broke my rear axle. my weir lsd plate lost all of their inner tabs and 3 of the discs broke to pieces. Is what happened my LSD stopped working and therefore transferred all the power to 1 axle? There seem to be a hairline crack that was rusting away for a while now. can over torquing do that? oh well. anybody tried the "Insane axles"? I dont think i would want used axles

That's is just what the weir LSD's do. The axle failure is likely unrelated.
