Help. During my autox run my clutch pedal went all the way in and didnt come back. I felt and heard some horrible grinding as I use the momentum to get to a safe spot. I have removed the pressure from the clutch slave cylinder but the fork is stuck. I looked into the inspection hole and I see the pressure plate finger-spring-thing touching some part of the casing . whats the evom terminology i should be searching to read up on this issue? I guess should be shopping for a new clutch, and throwout bearing. Should I replace the slave cylinder as well? Thanks

Sounds like you just broke the pressure plate. So you just need a clutch kit.

That's probably not the latch, it's likely the rubber stops need to be turned in a bit to let the hood sit lower.

yea u can get about 10mm movement on the latch itself. 3 bolts around the catch pin, back them off and move the catcher to where you want it then do it back up. also wind the rubber stops down.

remember you want it to line up with the fenders still so its a bit of a balancing act with the rubber stoppers and the latch. it could also possibly be too far forward or back hence why its hanging up. pop the latch in the car and then look up under the hood and see if its catching on the front or back of the catch. you can move the hood forward n back by loosening the hinge bolts and adjusting where it sits

Just got my Innovate flex fuel sensor in. Will be converting once my new engine is in.
Quick question: is it better to get SAE quick connects or just clamp the fuel line directly to the sensor? IIRC the return line is 1/4" and the sensor is definitely larger so it seems the quick connect would be the better option. Don't see the need to go -6 and change the entire return line unless I absolutely have to.
