Okay. At the shop. Live details.

10k front on 7” springs + the helper springs
11k rear on 7” springs + the helper springs

25mm front spacers

* 295/30 sticks out past fender lip about 15mm
* inner tire nearly on current front spring
* the PF01’s were made for big brakes!!!!

The Plan:
* order 5” front ==what rate?== Dallas??
* order 6” rear 14k
* order 15mm front spacers (with new shorter spring, we feel there is enough room between strut and tire to bring wheel in & clear lip.

Chart shows remaining travel of strut with shorter springs.

Front 295/30 R7 on 18x10.5 +38 with 25mm spacer. Tire sticks out about 15mm past lip.

Front inner 295/30 Hoosier R7 tire to current 7” spring on 18x10.5 +38 rim with 25mm spacer.

Rear 295/30 R7 on rear 18x10.5+38 tucks in nicely.

Rear inner 295/30 R7 on 18x10.5+38. Clears current 7” spring.

Just a underneath shot of Dallas’ arms installed by Frosty Tune.

Just a underneath shot of “Frosty Tunes” dry sump engineering

Just a pic of PF01 on rear.

Current 7” stroke travel

6” spring stroke travel

5” spring stroke travel

First outdoor look at Radi-Cal Pro 5000 through RPF1 spokes.

Double check your springs, Im betting they are 65mm not 60mm.

I would also do a 6" front spring, that will give you 3" of travel before coil bind (its roughly 1/2 spring length in travel before bind, typically...).

So,

Front: 6" long, 10k, 65mm ID
Rear: 5" long, 12k, 65mm ID

Thanks. Will double check specs and go with 12k rear rate. Doesn’t look like 1” shorter will clear on fronts which is why we thought 5”.

Happy Friday. Welcome to the domino effect project.

Bought larger brakes.
Buy larger rims.
Buy New Hoosiers
Buy shorter springs to fit wider tires
Buy thinner wheel spacers to fit new rims
Buy new brake fluid

.....and waiting for new springs to arrive today 2nd day air.....find out they weren’t in stock at time of order. Joy! Sourced the front springs and can at least start messing with that. So car sits on lift over weekend.

Friday waiting for shipment. New 6” front springs arrived.

6” springs w/o helper springs infront of 7” springs.

Taking inventory

Can’t get enough of this.

I won't even tease ya for calling a wheel a "rim". :P

Glad you got it sorted! If I find a way to get a wider tire to fit the rear quarters....then at least now I know how to get it to fit inboard!

Thanks for all the help guys. Your inputs truly made a difference and saved me some time. Still have to set the car down and do a rolling test. If all this works on a stock body, I feel like it’s a monumental accomplishment. (Even though many of you have already done it.) 😀

Initial Stance before tweaks. Not quite there yet. -3.2 front. -2.1 rear.

Does anyone have measurements from floor to fender lip? On my car, it’s 25.75”.

Nice, starting to look proper. I would go up to -4deg front and -2.5 in the rear.

How are you getting that much camber in the rear? I wonder if my car is still too high in the rear...or I just need aftermarket toe arms?

Pretty much, gotta slam the rear. Really no reason not to.

Heal2Toe= Camber in rear...Drilled new holes.

Final alignment: -3.5 front & -2.5 rear
Amazing to think we have wider set up and still brought the centerline to tire in 10mm. Who’d of thought?

First street test run. 300 degree off ramp loop, get rubbing sound from back. Probably the front of the inner rear tub??

Everything else seems to work. Clears fenders. Corner balanced. Heavy Pig at 3400!

This pic says it all. STANCE.

First pic after test run

18x10.5” 295/30+38 at -3.5 underneath stock fender!

Corner balanced with driver weight.

Just the fun stuff.
