Hey all

has anybody done any modifications to their steering rack to reduce the lock to lock degrees?

i watched some onboard of mine and i seem to be having to turn the wheel way too much vs say a porsche cup car etc,

I have never felt our cars needed faster steering. Only on the tightest autocross course do I ever take a hand off the wheel to get more steering angle.

Ive been pretty happy with our ratio also but Im a very aggressive proponent of crossing hand and never shuffling. So I'm just use to turning tight.

Same. It'd likely have to be some euro or ausi spec, but I've not seen one stateside.

Yea i might just put an aftermarket rack quickener in it. I just find at hairpins etc i have to go right crossed over and with my seating position etc i find it difficult without having to take 2 grabs at the wheel which i dont like would rather a much quicker rack like the porsches have where one full turn to like 130deg is full lock

I run 1.5 to 1 quickeners on my race rzr and yxz. Don’t think I’ve ever wanted one on the evo.
