Thanks!
Responding using the crappy TV-internet from the hotel room, so I'll keep this brief.
Navid says thanks for the congratulations. I think he drove the hell out of the car. We won't talk about my performance. The car has been running great. We have pared it down to 3028lbs, we finally have the right tires (the Hoosier 285/30/18 were hard to come by for much of this season), and we could both feel a definite improvement in power after Shiv tuned the car.
It has been great meeting all the other Evo drivers and seeing their well-prepped Evo's. Obviously everyone has been doing their homework.
I can't argue about the Evo's advantage at the ProSolo. We were getting 60ft. times of 1.8x's all weekend long. Non-Evo drivers were pulling 2.0-2.4's. Clearly we had a nice head start on every run. Rick is correct though - all that goes out the window for non Pro-Solo events.
Anyways, the 2 courses for the Solo 2 Nat. Championship race look great. Should be a lot of fun. Will have a full write-up when I get back.
Later,
Joe

Hey Joe,
Hope you're staying at the Capital Plaza . What are the start areas like this year? Last year's north was a big help for the Evo.
Kudos to Vishnu, remember the Xede got us (well Bret Norgaard) to 2nd at the Nat's in '03 and I think jbrennen has had great success with Stage 1 in SM. Shiv, I talked to David and I will be sending the Xede in for an update this week.
Mhyrr, I think the Botkin and Equina cars are on 315s and 335s!
Jack, great retort to Jeff W. on the SCCA forums on the M3 stats, gotta keep him honest!

Awesome, Awesome, Awesome - and even more awesome because he's on the forum. Sam Strano is at my local events and typically has times 3 seconds lower than everyone else, so for an Evo to beat him is quite awesome.
