Does PE intake need oiling?

Actually, the PE intake filter is a dry filter. DO NOT OIL it. The filter needs to be replaced after about 15K - 20K miles. You can purchase replacement filters for $70

The PE comes dry, but is still a cotton element like any K&N, AEM, etc...
Clean with soap and water, oil as I recommend..It will be fine.If it isn't Ill replace it for free...(Cause I know Im right
