NTAXS Autocross #3 @ TMS Bus Lot 4/25

So if you liked autocrossing, but weren't a big fan of the major Pennington tire wear or the 4 runs that the SCCA provides, then the NTAXS event at TMS might make you happy ![Smilie](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The typical format is 8 runs. TMS has an asphalt surface (not concrete like Pennington), so there's less traction (a bonus for the boost buggies like the Evo) and you don't EAT your tires.
People say you grind your tires up at Mineral Wells, knock down the rough edges at Pennington and polish them up at TMS.
I don't have a word on pricing yet.
Unless a double loop is planned again, you shouldn't be out there until 6 again (doh!).

Yes - but on that day in 1983, Pioneer 10 traveled beyond Pluto's orbit. That's got to be an event worth celebrating by dodging cones around the blacktop surface much in the same way that little satellite dodged the planets while speeding through the darkness of space...

Hey red evo8(9), I'm "getting" (forcing) my wife to come out that day and drive my car. Bring out the girlfriend ![Smilie](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
And I'll be on street tires so that it's not quite too "slippy" for the wife. So... we'll all be playing in the same class, so no "morning = slower" comparisons this time![lol](https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/images/smilies/lol.gif)
She says she has no interest, but at this point I think she's trying to be obstinate. If I pay for it she'll have to do it because she's too cheap to give up the $30

Registration will be open on 4/10.
Altiain is looking for a codriver for the event. He was my instructor @ ECR and would give you instruction for allowing him to drive your car. Unlike Pennington, TMS is very easy on tires, so extra tire wear isn't a big deal.
