the lower the better in my book, slower river means more time to drink and the rapids won't be that bad which means no risk of a cooler flipping over. I will call the Rockin r to confirm the romurs.

Thr river is low and is flowing very slow, that just means more time to drink and have fun!
Well I called Rockin R and they are only floating two parts of the river, btween the 2nd and 1st crossing (3hour float) and from Rockin R into the city limits (which we will not float due to the new city rules). So floating with the Rockin R is out.
Now with that being said, the upper parts of the river are still floating. Starting from the north side of the famous horseshoe, we will float all the way down to the 4th crossing, which is about a 2.5 mile float which will take us 6+ hours due to the river flowing so slow. (we would have floated that amount of time anyway originally, so no big deal)
I will up date the location where we will rent tubes from in the main thread. The camp site will remain the same.
Bottom line is, the river trip is a go!
