BMW CCA Autocross @ TMS Bus Lot 6/27

OK, the BMW club is pretty laid back (like the S2000/NTAXS club).

The TMS Bus Lot is easy on tires (yes!), but it's slick so you can spin easy (boo!). It's fun either way!

You'll get 8 runs for the money. More info here: http://www.dlbracing.com/Clubs/downl...lx?FileID=1005

You register here: http://www.dlbracing.com/Clubs/Regis...D=3808&LMID=11

$30 for BMW CCA members, $40 for non members.

Evos will be in the Y class unless you are on r-comps, then you're in the Z class.

I'll be there on my skinny Nitto NT-05's in the Y class.

Autocross is a low speed, non-competitive
event intended to familiarize you with the
dynamics of your vehicle and increase your
driving skills.

lol my *** low speed

You really can't beat 8 runs on the TMS bus lot surface for $40. Twice as many runs as an SCCA. Good practice and a ton of fun.

its low speed if you're a typical BMW owner

And compared to ECR where you're hitting 120+ on the back straightaway... ya it's low speed!

You get a pretty well written monthly magazine (Roundel), and... the big reason to join is that after you've been a member a year, if you buy a BMW you get a rebate from the club (this is on top of any deal you can negotiate). If you're going to buy a BMW in a year or so, it's the best return on investment you can ever make.

Jeremy, you have a digital camera right? You can borrow my mount if you wanted.

Sean, you have quite the setup on your car but this Saturday is my day to win. I can feel it.

I don't doubt it. I'm going to be playing with stuff to see what different settings do.
