Cheap Mobil 1 at Autozone

I know most people change their own oil so I thought I should point this out.

Autozone is having a special on Mobil 1 oil and filters. You can get 5 qts and a filter for $29.99. I bought 2 changes worth and saved about $35 (10 qts and 2 filters is the max).

This offer is good until the end of the month so everybody go stock up.

AutoZone always has a special with oil. Synthetic [5qts] and a Bosch, K&N, or Mobil 1 oil filter for $29.99. Advance and O'Reilly stores do too. Infact O'Reilly (CSK Store) has 5qts of Royal Purple and a K&N filter for $39.99 right now. But still best deal is 5qt jug at Walmart or Costco for $25 and an OEM filter for $5

Mobil 1
Extended Performance
5W-30
Our lineup of Mobil 1® Extended Performance high-endurance motor oils includes a 5W-30 grade, which is the viscosity most recommended by car builders over the last 10 years. This viscosity is recommended for most General Motors vehicles and many imports. The 5W-30 is a good viscosity for a broad range of applications and climates.

Mobil 1 Extended Performance 5W-30 meets the following industry approvals:

ILSAC GF-4

ACEA A1/A5, B1/B5

API SM

It also meets the requirements for diesel powered vehicles where an API CF or CD oil is recommended.

All Mobil 1 Extended Performance viscosity grades have been tested to be fully compatible with engine seals and conventional oils. A special oil filter is not required.

Mobil 1 Extended Performance motor oil is designed for today's longer service intervals. Mobil 1 Extended Performance with the Advanced SuperSyn System helps keep engines running like new and helps extend engine life by reducing wear and oil breakdown. Please follow the recommendations in your owner's manual while your car is under warranty.

4 qts or mobil 1 at wal-mart is $22

5 qts of valvoline full synthetic is $21

Evo needs like 4.5 quarts unless im mistaken. I just pour th 5 qts in and it ends up just a touch over the top line on the stick . But that's no worry for me because within a few weeks it's back down to normal. Where the extra goes I don't know.
