September 19 Mineral Wells Super Gymkhana / Drift Day!
#16
I never said you had to drift your car. I also never called anyone a ***** but you can infer what you like. The original question was about TIRES which I clearly explained, there will be some FREE used tires as well as a tire mounter on site. And yes, tires are an expense and an expendable item in any form of racing or driving event. And no, I don't have a 240Z primer paint job, though I do love 240Z's. I have a twin-turbo Z32 300ZX with overall pretty beautiful red paint and black leather interior, 18" wheels, and various performance goodies. I also own 2 other cars, an '85 BMW 535i rally beater and a Toyota Cressida currently in the process of getting a 2JZ swap. I love all my cars but I'm not afraid to drive them hard. And yes Ken Block is rich and doesn't really pay for the car. But I guarantee you he didn't get where he is as a pro driver, sitting on his *** and not going to events because he was worried about using up some damn tires or chipping his paint. You do what you want. I'm not telling anyone to go to the event. I personally think that anyone who actually goes, will have fun. These events are for everyone who wants to learn how to be a better driver and control your car more. And really I'm just putting this up here to announce the event for whoever wants to go. Do what you want with the invitation. Peace.

everyones opinion always comes off wrong on here, obviously kamikazee is pumped about this event, hence why he might have come off wrong. You guys know how it is when you get pumped about something, you instigate others but these events are fun as **** i won't lie, gymhkhana is an awesome sport, but for me i don't have a deep bank account for tires and or transfer cases, etc.
