Official NTEC E85 E% thread

OK, I've got my ECA in so I'll update this so that you guys can know what it's looking like out there (i.e. if it goes to E70).

E85 in Kevin's 55G drum: E82

12/11/09: Kroger in NRH on 26 - E81/82

Have you tested from the Classic pump at hwy 121 in Grapevine?

I get E85 in NRH,Irving and Carrollton Krogers. If I'm tuning I will use the Classic to refuel when I'm done.

E79.5 Coit/121 when I filled up last Friday. I get to fill up today or tomorrow so I'll check it again then.

Let me know when that % gets up there at 121/Coit and I'll run over there (live a mile from that station luckily). The darn price of E85 keeps climbing too, what gives?

It's not growing season any more? I'm not sure why Kroger is charging so much for their e85. I talked to the manager and corporate sets the prices. Looking @ E85prices.com, it seems we're getting the shaft.

I wonder why the swings in alcohol content. I think Kroger sources all of their E85 from Verasun, so you would think it would be somewhat consistant.

not sure. It is all from the same source, but I bet that the Exx is mixed in the tank, so they likely bring a truck in with E100 and pour some into the tank and then bring a gas truck in and put some gas in the tank... making something between E70 and E83 (the max you can get here in the states AFAIK).
