was simply one of the best movies i think i have ever seen.. i saw it last night in 3d and my mind is BLOWN. im going to see it again tomorrow, and possibly again after that.. the graphics are so real, truly unbelievable.

just letting you all know because the adds made the movie look a little cheesey, but its most defiantly not.

It was pretty awesome. I just came home from seeing it. Sure didn't feel like a two and a half hour movie.

yeah it was a long movie but it didnt FEEL long. Very interesting and well put together. James Cameron has been working on this movie for years and years, like creating the creatures and society of the blue people n stuff. It was unbelievable, and seeing it in 3d was INTENSE!

It was well put together and awesome effects but the same ol' story line. Either way I thought it was awesome.

I have heard multiple rumors on the movie being canned. First it was on, then cancelled, then on again, then cancelled, etc....

Maybe bungie is keeping a tight lip about it. But who really knows.

Microsoft is keeping a tight lip about it. Gates and company own the IT behind it.
latest news was back in august.

this seems to be a fansite watching for news on the release.

last i cared peter jackson was interested in doing it, but then something happened, microsoft wanted to much money something no studio would take that kind of risk on any project something and finally jackson went on to produce district 9. At that point i gave up on waiting.

anyway, theres an Imax in dallas near 635 and webb chapel if anyone is still interested in avatar

its hard to find a theater without a 3d showing. Lots of theaters have 2d showings even the imax theaters. But again most theaters in the area have a screen dedicated to 3d viewing.
