Introduction to Performance Driving

Would you call yourself an enthusiast when it comes to Motorsports? Here is your chance to dip your toe into the sport you may have a passion for but have yet to experience! A chance to gain the basic knowledge to move beyond spectator and into the rarified realm of driver!

Motorsport Ranch has been a leader in the sports car country club industry for over a decade providing a safe and enjoyable facility for the automotive enthusiast to take there dreams to the next level.

We are pleased to be able to now offer a chance for everyone that has ever wished to enjoy their fever for driving exactly that! Come join us for our Introduction to Performance Driving and get a feel for your dreams!

Course schedule: Registration
1st Classroom Session
Lead & Follow
2nd Classroom Session
Lead & Follow
3rd Classroom Session
Group “A” Solo Session
Group “B” Solo Session
Group “A” Solo Session
Group “B” Solo Session

What to bring? A Vehicle
Driver license
Long Pants
Snell Rated Helmet (Rental helmets will be available at an additional fee)
Enthusiasm!

Cost: $95.00 per driver

cool when are we going and which track? Is this something new as opposed to previous schools?

I'm soooo down to do this. Ive been dying to get the car on the track. I'm just hoping the rest of my parts get here. The blue skittle should be back by mid january!!

this is likely the 1.3. The difference between what we normally do is that this will have lead-follows and classroom sessions.

ok. so i just checked the website.. are we sure its on the 16th.. theres a houston region scca race that whole weekend.. and is it $95 or $995? the website says $995 per performance driving event per day..

995 is definately wrong. it will be 95 when they fix it.

Justin, this might be a bit "light" for you. You might be better off spending the $200 for an Apex or $300 for a 2 day TheDriversEdge event. You'll get more seat time.

This is more for people that are really afraid to get out there and drive IMO. For people that have pushed their car autocrossing or on the track already, I think that this is going to be pretty light.

But... it's cheap

But everyone who hasn't taken their car out to the track for a proper lashing is expected to attend. This will be (easily) the best Benjamin you spend on your car. Ever.

i figured it would be a bit light.. but i was thinking of going to the race anyway.. just to check it out.. i'm bout to get a bimmer race car.. wanted to check out the way the road course-ers get down. and on that subject.. how did i never here of the driversedge events before now? thank you Sean.. i will be at the feb and march events.. i'll say it again.. i live in the wrong town.. BTW wheres the dallas autocross schedule at? been looking foward to doing a lot more than the "one" i did last year..
