stupid freakin semi trucks!
well today i got stuck behind a semi truck and it threw rocks all over my car... hoods got about 15 nicks, fenders got some, bumpers got some... and to top it all off, i got home, and looked at my car, my freshly painted rear bumper the paint is all chipped off about the size of a dollar bill... ughhh anyone know a good paint shop? tim cant paint whole cars

If you clear it right then its not a problem.... there was a flat black evo done right at EVOD and you could wipe off the finger prints like a standard gloss painted car....

It does suck. I have several nice chips in my bumper and hood and 2 nice "pops" right in the front windshield too.
Oh well, what can you do. Save up cash and when it gets bad enough, have the whole thing painted and a new windshield put in.

You guys should look into professional touch-up painting. I had it done to my black S2000 and it came back looking nearly perfect. Basically, they cover the front end in paint and squeegee it off; the paint only bonds to the sharp edges of the rock chips. I wish I could describe it better or give you a more technical name for the process, but thats all I can remember. I had it done at the same shop in MN that did my PDR and clear-bra: http://www.dentkraftpdr.com/
If you can't find any info about it locally just give them a call and I'm sure they'd be willing to at least tell you what exactly the process is called.
