As discussed at the last NTEC monthly meet we're now going to a 2 meets per month schedule. We'll be doing a Saturday dinner meet on the 1st Saturday of each month and also continue doing the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

I'm still working out the final details for the Saturday meet, but it will be on Feb 6th at a sit-down restaurant location serving a variety of food and beer/drinks. PlanoEvo suggested the Chili's off the Dallas Tollway (south of 635) which seems like a pretty good centralized location to me so I'll be speaking with the manager there either today or tomorrow. I'm open to other suggestions and we can definitely try something new every month if people want variety.

One thing though is that the Cars and Coffee meet will be moving to the first saturday of the month in a month or two. Maybe switch this to lunch after CnC?

Definitely something that can be discussed in the future if that's what people prefer. I like the idea of a dinner meet since people seem to always be busy during the day on Saturday and if we do it during the evening we can hang out for a couple hours, have a few drinks/beers, and then head to a bar for a few more if we feel like it.

I don't know how many of you guys like MMA (mix martial arts), but there is a UFC PPV event that same night. If we can find a location that will show the fight, we can make it a Meet and UFC Night event...I'm not sure if I can make this one because I might get together with some friends to go and watch it (usually they start ~9pm). In my experience, you have to get seats around 7pm because everywhere fills up QUICK.
