Oh hey, can someone please remind me what the helmet requirements are for running @MSR? Snell SA or M? 2000, 2005? And do I need a tech/safety inspection?

Just Registered, this time I'm bringing my EVO. I ran the SCCA national Tour this past weekend with no issues, I'm looking forward to getting the car on track!

Dang, e85 is the special sauce, isn't it. Look at the difference in area under the curve.

We installed the FP Green 2 weeks ago and Calvin has been working on the tuning. Currently she is making 402HP and 374TQ on 93 octane and 25.5psi. We can still make more power, I just need to get some time on the dyno, things have been busy around here. My intent is to finalize the 93 maps and then try E-85, it should be quite impressive. Hell 402HP from a green running 25.5psi on an MR is probably a record!

good questions...
You need to bring: a helmet, fire suit, water and more water!!

I've never seen any helmet inspections, ever

you may need to rent a fire suit, (Apex's events/ins. doesn't require them, but MSR events/ins. do) MSR has about 20 suits and helmets for rent (sharing w/guys running in other groups is common)

There may be a brief informal safety inspection, nothing any street legal car wouldn't already have...safe tires, battery strapped down, etc
Make sure you check cold tire pressures, (up front 1-2 lbs above normal won't hurt)

anyone else have some recommendations?
