I traded in my Evo!
Sorry everyone, but I had to do it.
I traded in my Evo for a brand new 2010 GMC Denali. The Evo was limiting my "house projects/carpentry/wood working lifestyle". I'm tired of renting the truck at Home Depot, I'm tired of riding with someone down to the river (trying to coordinate that is a nightmare), bottom line is I needed a good solid truck that could carry heavy loads and in the furture, tow a boat.
April is GMC/Chevy truck month with 0% financing and I came across a deal I couldn't refuse. The truck has everything:
Navigation
Heated and cooled seats
Heated Steering wheel
Back up camera
Rear Entertainment system (aka......rear flip down tv)
Spray in bed liner
and a big fat gas sucking V8, 6.2 liter 400+ horsepower
Big thanks to NTEC and everyone I have met along the way. The club has grown so much since I first joined two years ago. Sean and Chris have and will continue to lead the club in a positive direction. I will attend the next monthly meeting in May, to not only say good bye to everyone but to also give back to Chris the $200.00 gift certificate I won at the Don Herring Show n Shine. Later I'm sure he will give that away as a prize at a furture NTEC meet.
As for the Evo, is was basically bid on as an open "auction" between the Mitsubishi Dealerships in DFW. Guess who won the "auction" .......Don Herring! So my car should be at Don Herring by the end of this week or next week sometime. All mods are still on the car, including the wheels and Accessport. Don will have to put a CAT on the car to sell it, but the test pipe should be in the trunk because the custom Cobb was tuned with the test pipe on it and Don is aware of it. I still have all the stock parts I removed from the car. They will be up for sale soon along with some other garage stuff in the NTEC FS thread.
There is no doubt I will miss the Evo, but in the long run, I made a smart decision for the lifestyle I live. Thanks again to everyone.
As with Mike, I don't need a tune to run E85 either!

Too much of a hassle, and the fact I would have needed to trade someone, possibly might have not been able to sell them in the time frame I needed to sell them. Plus they needed new tires, I would have only gained @500 bucks.......maybe. Plus, the more hands that touch the wheels (to put new tires on) the greater the risk for scratches, etc.
