I live 10 minutes from the one by Sea World. Just had it a few days ago. They never disappoint.

I recommend Smitty's or Kreuz in lockhart. My friends and I have been to almost every bbq joint in lockhart. We stop every time we go to the Mile and we all agree those are the best there. I haven't been to Snow's yet since it is out of the way and they always run out of food. The smoked prime rib at Smitty's is to die for. The sausage tastes just about the same since the families are related.

How's Black's? That one seems well-regarded as well.

Blacks is pretty good. We went there a couple years ago when we did the hill country cruise/track day.

I don't like the sausage there, but the brisket is pretty good.
