NTEC BBQ thread (was: Rudy's Bar B Q the best?)

Fore me the one in San Antonio near Sea World is the best. Now I found out that there is one in Frisco. Not sure if it will taste the same as Rudy's San Antonio . Anyone who was been there?Or is there any other comes close to Rudy's BBQ.

I've had Rudy's in Frisco it is very good, haven't try the one in SA so not sure how to compare. Salt Lick BBQ in Austin/Round Rock is awesome, should try if in the area.

OK, I've been remiss in setting up my Hard Eights BBQ run. I was going to do it this Thursday, but that's the Cobb first Thursday night, so I don't want to crowd it. When I get back from Mexico with the family, I'll set up a proper NTEC BBQ night, and you can let me know how you feel about Rudy's.

August 17, 18, or 19... I just need to figure out which will work best with the group's schedule. LMK.

My coworker raves about this place; I gotta check it out.

Salt Lick was good, my wife and I went down there last fall. I felt it was over-hyped though so I was honestly expecting better. This would definitely be a great place to go with a large group.

August 17th is the 3rd Tuesday of the month; I'm game for making that our monthly NTEC meet if you'd like!

Let's keep the monthly meet centrally located. I'll set up something separate for H8.

I've been to the one in Frisco. I think it's pretty good compared to other local joints.

I'm not a fan of the Rudys. I have eaten at both the Frisco and Seaworld location and they are just about the same.
