I like my new (kind of) lug nuts. I bought them before my car even blew up and lent them to my brother and just got them back. I almost had EvoD order me a new set forgetting I already had these. Back to normal socket for lugs. No more weird keys. I can't stand that crap.

I like my "new" used T1R resonated test pipe!
Kracka has said this before, but this is definitely the test pipe I should have bought in the first place. Fitment was absolutely perfect. Location for stock rear o2 sensor and wideband o2 sensor could not be better. Yeah the piece is a little beat up since it's used but a test pipe is a test pipe. Cabin noise definitely went down because I can hear my radio at volume 15 on the highway whereas before I had to keep it at 20. Thumbs up all around on this thing!

Hell, after EvoD got done with my car I cannot even make phone calls, hands-free... I love it! (What is a radio, for $100 Alex?)

Bragging about not being able to use your radio in your car is like bragging about not being able to have sex after taking Viagra. Loud does not equal fast

I love my new dyno proven horsepower!!!
Before and after (MAP short-runner exhaust manifold & MAP Turbosmart WGA):
There is a noticable increase in the mid-range, that's where I'm really feeling it. Plus, the turbo seems much more responsive with this new WGA which makes sense since the WG was able to be properly tensioned, I wasn't able to run any pre-tension with the original 25psi WGA. Although spool does appear a touch slower, torque picks up a little bit quicker.
Knock CEL is setup at 3 counts (slow) and 5 counts (fast), but I've yet to see a single flash even with two pulls to 140+ so far
I was just out ripping around some more and this car is seriously the ultimate DD street car! Handling is spot on, it rips through the gears, reliability has been decent, and it drives smooth as stock.

Besides, you analogy should have been...
"Bragging about not being able to use your stock radio in your modified car is like bragging about not being able to have sex with a virgin after having a ***** enlargement."
Yeah, I think that captures it quite well.

I admit, it's probably pretty easy to be loud and slow but it's pretty difficult to be fast and quiet -- at least in an evo. Nearly every mod I've done to make the car faster or handle better makes it louder at the same time so I would say there's definitely a pattern.

There are lots of cars that are very powerful and fast ans quite, quiet. I always laugh when I see Honda civics with a large ***, loud muffler and they maybe gained 2 hp

To clarify -- I was really referring to the kinds of "go fast mods" that make the car louder inside more than outside. For example...
- Going to a catless exhaust creates a louder exhaust drone inside the car.
- Installing the Billet Aluminum motor mounts makes the inside of the car, dash, steering wheel and all, vibrate and make their own sounds.
- The cams I had installed creates a nice loping noise that you can feel through the seat at idle and generates an undeniably louder exhaust note at WOT.
- 12-plate rear differential mounted with urethane bushings brings a loud differential whine sound in to the car anytime you are moving.
- the Walbro 255 introduces an interesting electric motor sound when running.
- removing the rear seat, trunk liner, and sound padding lets all the above sounds come right straight in to the cabin with nothing to soak it up.
- the track coilovers creak, squeak, rattle, and pop as they work.
- the increased stiffness of the suspension and racing tires transfers imperfections from the road in to the car turning the entire chassis in to a frequency oscillator.
- the 6-puck clutch will chatter and clatter when engaging.
Every one of those "go faster" mods has made the car incrementally louder. You almost can't have a normal conversation riding in the car at speed. If the Evo came this way stock I doubt they would sell more than 2 dozen a year.
I openly invite anyone to ride along with me on an autocross run sometime to see why all the noise is totally worth it. It's quite a ride.

I Like my new "3 Cobb Exhaust. With Quad tips. Love the sound. Definitely gotten a lot of compliments on it. Love the Low growl in the low RPMs dosent really drone at all unless your 4.5k RPMs, but its not really often im up there for long. Great piece of gear.
