Pretty crappy pic, but I got a new toy for the car

I picked it up from a 2008 Evo X and so far I'm really liking it! I'm in the process of getting all my CD's loaded into the internal HDD. I purchased a maps update disc from Don Herring - Irving (2011, most current available) but it looks like the previous owner had already updated it to a 2010 map pack so I'm not going to bother updating for now since 1 year isn't worth $190 ($175+tax). Overall, it was a very simple plug & play installation; Sirius and Bluetooth worked right off the bat without needing any type of programming. I did update the Gracenote CDDB and thus far it's recognized all my albums and burned discs (if anyone else wants to do this you can borrow my update disc so you don't have to download and burn your own since it's a big file).

Depending on the flavor, you can mod it with a disc so you can do dvd in motion (and a couple other things). I don't know the current status of the mod, but I did it and it was nice to entertain the kiddo (not that you need to worry about that!).

Sounds interesting, I'll have to look into that and figure out how to do it.

I had the evoscan gauges on mine... tapped into the backup camera input and just wired a switch so I could use them on the track.

i want to get the plx dm100. that lil thing is badass, you can have a bunch of sensors wired to it and it acts like a multigauge, but with a cool lcd screen

Not to steal Matthew's thunder - BUT.

Just made it home 30 min ago from Miami. Tom's coming over a bit later to check it out. 997 GT3, very extensive mod list for tracking and reliability. It's a beauty.

You need to bring it to Tuesday's NTEC meet at Sonny Bryan's.
