NTEC Dyno-Day @ Cobb Tuning - 10/03/10

Time for a dyno-day at Cobb Tuning in Plano!

map to Cobb
Sunday, October 3rd, 2010
9:00 am until 4:00 pm

First car goes on the rollers @ 10am and we'll do one every 30 minutes after that! If all the dyno slots fill up we can start earlier if needed.

3 pulls with AFR and boost logged for only $45 on their in-ground Mustang dyno. Printouts will be provided. This is a great price!

You must sign up in advance and to get on the list you will be required to contact Kevin @ Cobb so he is able to get all the necessary information. He will be posting all his contact info shortly. Once you do that please PM me with your info and I'll get you added in your time slot choice.

As an NTEC event we will be limiting dyno pulls to only Evolutions, but everyone is welcome to come hang out, spectate, and get to know everyone. Cobb will be providing the grill so if we could all bring some food to share that would be great. We'll need meat, buns, snacks, sides, drinks, etc. so please add yourself to the list and bring what you can.

BYOB - everyone is on their own
Cobb - soda/water/coffee
Kracka - hotdogs

This is a week after our upcoming newb modding day so it will be a great chance to see how those new mods are working for you!

I will have some donations/prizes gathered so we can have a raffle too. If you have anything you'd like to donate please let me know. This will be only for members who dyno their cars; I think we'll do a "guess your power" to determine who gets to pick off the prize table first, second, etc. I think this will be more fun for everyone involved rather than just randomly drawing names or awarding prizes to only the highest power cars.

Kevin here, contact me on 214-291-3020 or email me at kevin@cobbtuning.com with the following:

Name (first and last)
year, model (include MR, GSR, Ralliart, etc)
address
phone number
preferred timeslot

Prior to dyno day checklist:

-Make sure your car is in good working order
-Oil change has been relatively recent
-at least a 1/4 tank of gas
-correct tire pressure (thanks Kracka)

As you may know, we perform routine maintenance for all version of Evolution, so if you need an oil change or something is up with your car, let us know.

-Kevin

Do you keep dyno'ing your car just to make sure your Cobb tune is sticking or you just like seeing the same numbers! GL hope you break the 400awhp mark!

I'd like to add checking tire pressure as well. I've seen tires blow out on the dyno before and it's a scary thing since pieces go flying everywhere.

Kracka, you should probably add that list to the 1st post. I missed Kevin's updated post as I just find the last post I read and go forward.
