Mitsubishi Reliability

I forgot who asked me about Mitsubishi reliability Sunday but I have attached a CR listing of predicted reliability, It doesn't necessarily reflect what we see with extended service contract claims but it's not too far off.

That was Chris and myself Don. Thanks for posting this.. VERY impressive. Personally I think the Mitsu's at your dealership should have a space of thier own on that list... like 5th or maybe even 4th..

That is pretty impressive. Mitsubishi has come a long way since the late 90s.

Mitsu is a huge surprise on that list, the other is Hyundai... Oh and it looks like Mitsu moved up 3 spots this year too...impressive. The bad surprises on that list....BMW and Mini at the bottom!

What I have to keep in mind is this is reliability...not build quality

I am pleased with the reliability of the two mitsus that I have owned. Between the two, I put 225K miles on the cars, and never had any issues.

I've had 4 mitsus and never had a problem with any of them. Even my folks both drive Outlanders now after seeing how well my cars have been. I'd have to be able to afford something really nice to not keep shopping mitsu

While these numbers are for the 2010 models, my 2005 Evo just hit 95K miles this week and I've never had any sort of break-down at all. Not even a bad starter or alternator.
