Who does a good window tint on the Evos in the DFW area?

Protint in Dallas 972-713-6861. Ask for claudio. He's the owner. He has won several national tint competitions and one of the only tinters allowed to upload new car tint cuts. He offers lifetime warranty. He also carries the Huper Optik tint. Mention my name " Tom " that drives an Evo. He will give you a discount.

Bottom line if you want good tint.. get this
http://www.huperoptikusa.com/automotive.cfm one of the few films made in the USA. DOES NOT turn purple like 3M tint. Has the highest heat rejection and one way reflectivity. Protects your interior as well from fading.
Just like mod parts.. you get what you pay for.

Whatever you do DO NOT go to Tritek. They used a propane torch on my windows and melted them and they had to pay to have my windows and mounts replaced on both sides of my old car.
I used Sun Masters in Lewisville and I was happy with them.

Every tint shop I know of will use a torch to dry the film to the window. My self as well as primarily everyone I know uses tritek and will continue to use tritek. There are two tritek locations( beltine and the one on kingsley) they are both owned by different people and are in no way affiliated with one another. I would only ever use the one on kingsley.

But at any rate I used the one in Garland, and the owner actually did the damage. He melted the rubber and plastic around my two rear doors by holding the torch to close to the edge. Like I said he did pay to have it fixed but I wouldn't suffer through that again. I believe the damage came out to be in the ~$500-$600 in parts for two new windows with mounts.
I have heard nothing but good things about Protint. I wish I would have gone there at that time but I was trying to save a $100...go figure!
