Based on your turbo choice I'm going to assume you like quick spool/response which is where the FP4R's and GSC S1's really shine. Both are "safe" with the stock valve springs to 8k RPM, but upgrading is never a bad idea.

Yea I was going for the fp4r w/ springs but just needed input since I had my car since 06 and now it's time to bring a little beast out of it. Lol

kelfords or the fp4rs. the GSC s1 are hardly noticeable on a 9. the s2's are good cams, but GSC doesn't stand by their product very well...

the kelford 272 cams will idle well, and still make great power which is nice. they are my personal preference. run em in my race car.

AWDTuning might be able to help you, but when you want your car running right, tuned properly, and not overcharged, let me know. i'll give you a 100% money back guarantee that i can have the car running better then what they can do plus i wont tune the car to 116% duty cycle . i'll fix the problem on the spot, and make sure its running properly. in fact i did that last saturday with a car. spent most of the day working out problems from a car with really high duty cycles, and finally resolved the issue with the end result a blisteringly fast evo .

Just got Kelford 272 installed, read up on them along with Kevin's advice ad decided it was the best way to go. KevinD, Josh and Richard from EvoDynamics are really the only people that touch my car so i always suggest their services as well. VERY reasonable price and stands by their work. I also like the fact that when they see a small problem that can be easily fixed, they just do it and dont hit me with this "Misc" charge like I have seen others do.

I can attest. I was up there Saturday while Kevin was working on that car. I didn't see what the final fix was but you sure gave that thing hell. I loved the method for checking his E85 fuel purity. Kevin routed this guys fuel to another cars E85 sensor. That was really cool.

BTW, thanks for tuning my car. It's running great!

Not sure who you get your information from but you are incorrect. for one the S1 profle uses the latest core and has been using the same core as of july of 2009. second part is we have had 0 (zero) failures of S1 cams. We had 1 S2 cam set that was a claimed failure but after distructive testing of the same batch we found no flaw in metalergy or design. and of that 150 piece batch that was the only said failure even 1.5 years later.

You might want to clarify this in your section then: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/gs...gsc-cores.html
