The New and Improved Guadalupe River Boombox Version 4.0
#21
The handle is always up. I had it custom made to my specs. I did a lot of research on luggage handles that would extend and collapse, but due to the weight, size, wheel size and being able to handle off road conditions (as in pulling the boombox over rocks, sticks, gravel, grass, etc) I wanted something extra strong and I just didn't trust a luggage type of handle. Thats the sacrifice I had to make on the handle.
I think I'm gonna had a train horn some where on the handle, bolting it to the vertical bars.

Our official river trip this year is the weekend of August 20th. I will probably post a new thread with the directions, times, location, etc. Your more than welcome to join us. There will be a lot of people going this year.
Since you went to Schlitterbahn, you probably saw the people only floating the Comal river, which totally sucks. Too many rules and regualtions to follow. Floating on the Guadalupe is a totally different animal than the Comal. So if you do float, with us or not, make sure you float the Guadalupe River outside the city limits of New Braunfels, basically anything north of the Rockin R' on the Guadalupe River. There are no rules or regulations to follow, anything goes.
