Count me out. I just got word I have to cover for a guy all weekend.

I need the overtime anyway to help with getting the truck.

Can we plan another cruise for this fall?? I really enjoyed the last one and now I have to miss this one. Maybe there is a pumpkin patch or something we can drive to kind of like the peach run.

Thats the good news....
The bad news is:
the drought and scorching heat the past two months has ruined the
peach and pecan crop in Weatherford.
My sister got some great Fredericksburg peaches 3weeks ago, and
that means changing the route drastically!!!

The attendance has dwindled to nothing which has me baffled since everyone had such a great time last January. This is usually the best time to enjoy the A/C and scenery the Evo provides.

So, with no peaches and another NTEC cruise coming up in weeks,
lets just say-
this is postponed until this Fall

I really wish I could have made this one. Maybe by fall more people can make it. It's a lot of fun.

The NTEC Shreveport cruise is going to be really great. I hope you make that one Kelly as well as others. Keep in mind:

1. You don't have to spend a fortune by staying the night. You can certainly join the cruise and head back the same day back to Dallas.

2. You don't have to stay overnight at the Eldorado hotel. There are some 50 buck a night hotels. Or... You can get a room with TWO queen beds and share a room at the Eldorado. I saw a Days Inn that was 50 a night with two queens that 25 bucks per person.

3. Use HOTELS.COM or PRICELINE.COM to get a deal

4. Your welcome to join us halfway to lunch and then head back.

5. We also stated that there are MANY Evo's coming and people are welcome to just join along as passengers. Chris, Andrew, and Rmondo can tell you about the Minnesota cruise they did as just passengers and had a great time.

Don't NOT come thinking it too expensive when in reality there are many alternatives for a GREAT time.

We planned this cruise far enough in advance for everyone to be able to enjoy at least part of it.

Tom makes some great points. I am not a gambler and am really not interested in going to Shreveport, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be a great day cruise for some of us..
