South NTEC Peach Cruise

Cruise Canceled
Sorry, the Texas drought and scorching heat has ruined the peach and pecan crop this year
What are your thoughts on postponing the cruse until the Fall??
check out my post #36 for more info.

This will be the same route we made last January, except instead of stopping by MSR, we will stay on the backroads to Weatherford.
I found a cool family run Peach/Pecan Orchard.
I have combined two really great cruises that include: leisurely rural two lanes, nasty twisty rural two lanes, single lane near the Brazos, and some freeway for mixing it up.

Meet at 10:00, don't be late! Cruise leaves from: Kroger E85 station - Mansfield, TX (click for Google Map)

(11-12ish) snack in Grandview
anyone running late can meet us in Grandview off of I-35 or
(2ish) Lunch at Babe's in Grandbury off of 377 South
(3ish) Weatherford

Yipee! Kelly, are we going to have access to e85 on the remainder of the route, or do we need to plan on carrying our own?

on the previous cruise stopping at MSR and heading East on 1187, we made it easily to the Kroger at Crowley/1187

Heading to Weatherford is fine, but I'm not sure where the first e85 station will be between Weatherford and DFW.

Have fun guys and remember, please come on non-bald tires so we don't have another incident like last time!

I'm sadly going to have to sit this one out since my wife and I have other vacation plans already set for that day. Hope to see you all on https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/no...veport-la.html though!

This looks good! I'm in. Two back to back cruises should be fun.

Matthew I'm planning on bringing 12 gallons of e85 myself just in case

I would not have made it to Weatherford last year and if I recall correctly, we stopped at Kroger in Burleson because I wasn't sure if I could make it back to Mansfield.
