Videos of Evo meets in the midwest

Here is what the Oklahoma Evo crew has been up to this summer. More videos to come. I organize most of the meets in Oklahoma would be awesome to have a big meet at cars and coffee. Id like to get some input!

I'm game, I regularly go to cars and coffee here in Dallas. Trying to get Evo owners here in Dallas to get up and go is challenging. So I would love to see you guys from Oklahoma.

You can never outnumber Subarus man... They are like cockroaches, 10 wrx/sti for 0.5 evos!

Where in Oklahoma do you guys actually meet up and is there a schedule of some sort? Even oklahoma city is like 2/3 hours away from me so it would be an easy drive.

The Cars and Coffee is located in Dallas area, specifically Plano, Texas every 1st Sat of the month. Feel free to come on down and join us. The start time is always 7 am on till 11 am. You generally have to be there at 6:30 to get a parking spot.

Where is that dyno at?
I live in the wichita, ks area, it would be nice just to drive 2.5hr south for a dyno.
Instead of going up to KC.

I don't think that's even possible. Where I live in Denton is already bad enough, only 3 Evos here that I know of and 1 person owns 2 of them and me. On the other hand, I can find a Suby by just driving down the street to wal-mart.

i live in Denton with an Evo.

We just dont have the Evo following in DFW like we used to. Things changed and the turn out suffered.

Come to some meets and you'd realize the turnouts are great The VIII/IX:X ratio is evening out too which is cool!

Andrew thats a bunch of crap. I been going to meets for a long time as you know. Sure the faces may have changed mostly due to people selling thier cars. I regularly see guys I've known since way back with the exception of you who just seems to whine and complain. Bring your car out sometime and join us and put this BS aside. Either that or go away.....

What is this "change" you speak of?

Dont be so negative all the time.. come to a MEET.. whats the issue? problem? We have a great turn out of 15 Evo last night for the monthly meet and about 20 plus for the Sat BBQ meet. Generally half are 8-9's and half are X's.

Tell ya what... come to a meet... and if you dont have fun like the rest of us... I'll get my pharmacist neighbor to get you some prozac or paxil.

^ epic picture btw.

Meets are awesome, sadly I've only attended 1 of them as I dont live in the area but I will be coming down again soon enough for the meet and to pick up some parts. To tell the truth, I was a bit skeptical and afraid that the meet was going to consist of 20 year old anime freaks that happen to love EVO's (nothing wrong with that, not my style) but boy was a wrong. All the people that came to that meet was cool, mature and great people. I was glad to show up and I will show up as many as I possibly can. In May, depending if I land one of the few jobs that I am looking for... I might even move down there (the weather is my only worry, I HATE hot weather, I got the MR Touring for one being having a sunroof and 100F+ and sunroof doesnt work that well...).

If you guys haven't been a meet yet, you should.
