NTEC Annual Picnic sponsored by EvoDynamics!
hey guys,
we have discussed this through the year, and we really wanted this to happen again. for the past couple years we have had a club picnic with great turnouts, so we wanted to have it happen again this year! This is a Family event! Bring your kids!!
DATE:
10/29/11 (saturday) 11am - 6pm at the latest (is when the park starts to close)
location:
Pike Pavilion
600 Sandy Beach Rd.
Lewisville, TX 75057

Parking:
This is where we have to park, there is plenty more room if we somehow fill this one.
We (evodynamics) are going to provide the parking passes to get into the park. WE NEED TO KNOW BY THIS FRIDAY IF YOU WANT THE FREE PARKING. you can buy the passes at the gate for 10 dollars per car if you don't sign up in advance (or i run out of passes... i'll have 20 to start and can get more if more people sign up before friday).
Passes for those who sign up early can be picked up at our shop before the event.
Food:
Like the Previous picnics, this will be a Potluck Style event. we will bring some basic essentials, but for the event to succeed, everyone should bring a little something to share. check the signup list below for what people are bringing.
Event info:
- Alcohol is allowed (no glass containers)
- the parking lot at the pavilion is for the pavilion only
- pets (on leashes) are allowed
This is a Family event! bring your kids out and have fun. Please be responsible with the drinking if you are bringing alcohol.
We will be bringing our Canoe with so people can paddle out and around if they like. we have two adult lifejackets (required), and in order to use it at least One adult must be on the boat (i.e. kids can't take it out alone).
We will bring games such as Corn Hole, but if you have a favorite, bring it along!
Inclimate Weather:
in the case of rain or bad weather, we will host the event at our shop.

i posted notice in the BBQ meet that there will be a picnic that day for ya 
since they haven't even started the signup, shouldn't be a problem (and even if there are both meets, still not a problem).

This was a fantastic venue for the picnic the last time we had it here, plenty of room for kids and pets to run around and have fun.

would people prefer the Potluck style party? or would people rather have the BBQ joint the meet normally is at cater the event? Kracka said its around 14/person to have it catered.
i know last picnics the potluck was awsome, there was some killer food people brought with. however its always easier to have someone bring food for us.
just an option, let us know what you think so we can plan ahead.
