Help!!! Evo revving at 4K with battery on low

Help!!! Evo revving at 4K with battery on low

Please help! I don't know what happened last night but I was driving and I notice that my batt gauge go down to 2 volts and when I stop to check it the evo start revving up to 4k rpm and it won't go down.
Then all light on my gauge turned on. I manage it get it home but still the same this morning please Help.
By the way I have a 06 Evo.

Go to either Cobb or Evolution Dynamics. Both can help and get you working and back on the road.

Get your battery and alternator tested, any auto parts store can do it for you.

he got both tested out to be fine. told him its probably the known issue of electrical gremlins. told him to check the wire connectors on the driver side kick panel.

THX guys. Yeah drew told me to check the wiring under the stearing wheel. I'll go check it after work.

Good call. Those can get really nasty with corrosion.

Kick panel down in the footwell right behind the fender. I doubt it's the ignition harness in the steering column.
