Black Friday deals?

With Black Friday being next week already, who's planning on getting what?

Personally, I think I'm going to do a new TV for my living room. Looks like Best Buy is going to have a 50" Panasonic plasma for $599. I currently have a 40" Samsung LCD so it should be a nice upgrade.

I want an XBox 360 with that Kinect thingy...but it looks like none of the sales are particularly spectacular this year.

Good luck to you, Kracka. Best Buy is always a madhouse! What time are you going to get there?

I plan to buy a **** ton of Blu-rays for my son and I.

On a side note...everyone should have seen this but if not enjoy! One of the best Black Friday movie scenes ever! I wanna be Oprah rich!

Maybe you hear with an accent.

So good.

@ Kracka Sumsung > Panasonic all day er' day. I'm glad plasmas are starting to have a game mode finally because if they didn't they would have died out in a matter of years with that horrendous lag they had.

When I was ready to make the HDTV leap and researched the pros and cons of all the models, Panasonic was one of the names that stood out ahead of the others. I snagged a nice 42" one (biggest one that would fit in my room) and never looked back. I've had zero issues with mine and probably won't ever stray from Panasonic without a damned good reason.

My buddy back in MN who's a home theater designer/installer buys nothing but Panasonic plasmas so that right there tells you something.

I agree with this. Everything so far that I have had that was Samsung has failed, DVD, Blu-ray, TV, and surround sound system. I won't be buying Samsung again.

Not sure if they still have it, but Best Buy had a 47 inch LG LED LCD TV for $699 on sale the other day! I jumped all over it with my sweet deployment money
