Looks like you guys had a blast. I've been a member for awhile but I haven't met any of you guys or made it out to any events haha. I'll do my best to make it out to an event next month . Been busy working and putting together finances for my wedding next year.

 

Well, this sucks, but on the cruise I hit a bad pothole and one of my wheels is bent Anyone else hit it?

I brought it up to EvoD after work to have it checked out (I was really hoping a weight just got knocked off) and KevinD loaned me a spare he had and is sending mine off to Wheel Technologies tomorrow to see if it can be repaired. Crappy situation, but awesome my car is still drivable with no downtime!

 

You know, I was thinking the same thing the last cruise I did with the group I was uncomfortable with the route. That was when I had a good 6" clearance and stock wheels. I don't think I could bring myself to do another on unknown roads at unknown speeds now that I am lowered and on aftermarkets. I am sorry to hear you hit a rut. Believe me I know what it's like. Hell, I sometimes scrape my undercarriage just driving on north Dallas roadways at low speeds. My exhaust cans are approximately 3.5" off of the ground and my front lip is 4.25". I love it for racing, hate it for driving the streets!

 

Wow, i'm really sorry to hear that from both of you. The asphalt just coming down the ridge was really uneven, but i don't remember potholes, just before the lake? I feel really bad. Night has its advan/disadvantages.

 

**** happens, it's the risk we take when driving unknown roads at night. I honestly don't remember exactly where it was, I'd have to drive the route again. It won't deter me from the next one, I'll just be hugging the yellow line a bit tighter

Kevin thinks that Wheel Technologies can get it fixed for $125, otherwise I have a line on a perfect condition set for $300.
