While those tires might not be allowed for your NASA class, I'm sure you can use them for all the other events in this competition.

You should see if you can snag some fresh 245/40 RS3s by then. I autocrossed on bald tires once -- is was a worthless event. I literally spun out twice. The lateral grip required for the turns and slaloms is pretty high.
While those tires might not be allowed for your NASA class, I'm sure you can use them for all the other events in this competition.

Yeah! Do it. 245 or maybe even a 255. I'd hate to see you get out to the autox next weekend and get beat by a stock 350Z or WRX just because they had fresh rubber. It makes a hella difference.
