If you are willing to travel a few hours (~3.5 hours from here to Harrisburg; I think it should be about the same to York), Caleb at CBRD specializes in finding exactly what you want:

I got a tune there and the guys were incredibly nice. If timing works out, I could possibly give you a ride there to pick up the car. My parents live close by so I go back a good bit.

Yeah I should have just bought an evo in the summer when I was looking for a car. I bought a wrx instead. It's a great dd but just sucks on a autox course.

Thats how life is sometimes. People want your car when its not for sale and no one wants it when you are trying to sell it.

Hi Steve, i'll assume your the same one from racepa. If you really are looking for a used evo just search the for sale section on this forum. You might have to travel alittle for one but there are some great deals out there. Even better deals if you want a modded one!

I thought that this was the story too. I pretty sure thats what Nate tuned his car on over the summer, but my memory is pretty bad so I could be completely wrong about which turbo he was on at the time.

yeah that's me. I have been checking out the for sale threads but I just thought I would post in here to see if anyone was thinking about selling and hadn't posted anything yet or anyone that wasn't on the forum. I'll keep an eye out so hopefully the right one will come along soon.

What are your criteria? Just any old IX?
IMO the best IX was the IX SE.
The MR six speed would be nice on a daily driver.

As always, be real careful when buying a used EVO. At least have one or more people with one drive it first.

I have no experience with Buschur, and no problems with him. They wouldn't schedule a Saturday appointment, so I went to CBRD. The guys were great, and I got a lot out of my tune. If you want more details, feel free to ask or check out the thread I made about it:
