safety precautions

its like putting a cage in a car. Not thinking you will ever take it over a hill but if, just if you do... You will be safe.

the chances of subbing in a 4 point are comparable to subbing in the normal factory 3 point.

typically i am not the type to make random safety gear purchases like this, but i picked these belts up for a song and i am tired of sliding around my seat during autox/tt.

sat beaverrun

anyone else go to Beaverrun last Saturday. Saw 3 evo's there, one blew off her IC pipe. I was kind enough to let her use my tools to fix it and they didn't even say thanks, actually was very rude the whole time. I told her she should get T-bolts clamps.
also saw a nice 50-trip eclipse.
But I will not be doing any drag racing there being it is only a 1/8 mile track and you dont even get time slips, WTF?

That is true. The IX seats don't seem to snug up well for normal sized people. I think the seats are something like 4 inches wider on the USDM Evo's though. The VIII seats held but they can keep them, blue inserts and all.

+1 the VIII seats are not as comfortable, yet more restrictive on movement from side to side.

Must be fun to have enough grip to outperform the seats!!

Uhh august 7-9th? idk, not for the TDI Cup, Ill have to look on my calender to see what I can do up there then.

Yeah Petey, Patricks Red evo is SICK, mines the silver stockish one with pealing calipers and 8 or 9 inch long scratches on the driver door lol.
