Denny, I plan to make it on the 1st. Thats out of our territory...You got my back if anything goes down? I will bring spamburgers and government cheese.

i had my first night on a drag strip tonight. it was a first for me and my car. my best time ended up being a 10.83. i was constantly getting faster until my last run when my coolant temp gauge started freaking out which in turn freaked me out and led to a bad run... owell the car held up the temp really wasnt high so overall it was a good night.
things i need to do!
fix my damn coolant gauge
bigger injectors
bigger turbine housing
it will be money after that and oh i guess some q16 would be nice too!!

Curt Brown works at Ascot motors in swickely. He has some SICK SICK cars, I think his most recent is a gsxr that runs like 9s or something. He had an Evo at some point to, might still have it.

Look man , and please I don't mean this to offend others , but the truth is that most of these dudes don't understand what it takes to run out of the 13's to be honest. Let alone to run a 10 sec pass at 130 mph. According to most here drag racing is a skill- less pre-historic form of racing. But you won't catch them attempting to run hard at the 1/4 mile. They probably all think they can do it well . And then bam reallity sinks in and they don't want the financial repricussions of the sport or the fact that it's harder than they think.

there is no respect 4 drag racers. If its not performed at beaver run its considered out of the evo's element. I personally respect everyones decisions on what they do. Sad thing is there is more respect to travman for buying a trek than running 10's in the quarter
I think in general its nothing more than jealousy. Dont hate bc ur car is weak sauce. We will gladly take you for a spin in a fast evo..
