well what a day for my first auto-x! That was so much fun. Although we really need to represent the evo community better. It was a subie fest today. I have to give props to "calvin" for winning the Sm class today! nice job, and thanks for the few pointers. Im addicted now so looks like time for some race tires! Well instead of having a meet at prp next time we need to get everyone to go racing. There is another auto X at north park on may 7 and a rookie driving school the day before at the same place. It would be a great time to give it a go! you won't regret

hey, i got a question for you guys. ever since i got my new tires put on i have been hearing a thump sound from what seems to be the rear passenger side.
it only seems to happen on certain types of low speed right hand turns.
i don't think it's the hotchkis sway bar because the noise wasn't there when i had my winter tires on.
also the sway bar seems to be sliding ever so slightly to the passenger side.
i almost want to say bad strut, but i am not sure.
frankly i'm a little stumped.

yes the more evo's out there racing the better! Mondo, did you check your lug nuts? sounds stupid but it happens. also it could just be the strange clunking from the strut tower braces in the front! I have had that before. there are a ton of threads on strange clunking noises. Now as for the sway bar. that shouldn't really matter if it moves alittle because its not suppose to be be solid, thats why there are grease fittings on it, so it slides freely. now if it has moved alot thats a different story. now its is possible your noise is from your sway bar since your running it on stiff, have you greased it again?
