Welcome to the thread man... I assume youve Autox'd at NP then?
star specs, yes.

i really liked them, and they actually held up much better than i had expected. i figured they would be melting off like butter but that wasn't the case.

they're easily the best street tire i have ever driven on.

Hi Dave. We've met a few times, most recently at Nates when i had my X tuned last month. What makes you want to get into an Evo?

Yeah, so my STi apparently drives like an Evo according to him. So why do I need to get into an Evo, right?

Thanks for the warm welcome, guys. Let's see if I can rationalize why I want an Evo. When I bought my STi, I was torn between the Evo X and the new STi. I went with the Subaru for a few reasons including the hatchback, more creature comforts, and the whole legendary boxer engine thingy. I don't ever regret buying it. In fact I love driving it! What I do regret is how nearly impossible it is to work on the car. I want another high horsepower AWD tuner car, track-capable and easy to mod. So I think that's the Evo. I'm looking for a used low-mileage car, gen VIII or IX, fewer mods = better since I will likely get rid of them anyway and don't want to pay for them.

I'm pretty bent on this, especially lately. Don't know why. Talk me out of it if you will. Support me. I don't care. I'll still drive the STi daily and autocross it; she's not for sale, Paul

Dave, are you looking for s track car? If so check eBay right now. There is a race evo for sale minus engine and tranny. It has been for sale for a while and could be had for a good price. Full cage, air Jack system, and much more. It would be a great race car fir someone willing to put alittle time and money into putting in an engine and such. Or is that more race then you were looking for?

Dave, what is your definition of low miles? I too would recommend a IX based on your wants. Easy power and cheaper parts.

If you didn't disable lean spool that will cause it.....disabling it will make your life 10x easier when tuning afr.

pick a date, time, place, and keep the list.

there's no special protocol or permission needed to call a meet.

it would be cool if nicely and his car were able to attend. i am eager to see that bad bish. where has he been lately?
