hey guys, just a reminder the NHSCC has regained control of the pool parking lot in north park for autocross.
http://nhscc.com/
the next event will be on september 13th.
there will only be 4 events in the fall session at north park. if you haven't raced before i highly recommend going to autoX in north park. very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of people eager to pass on their knowledge to you.
plus it's cheap as chips.
as always i have an extra helmet if anyone needs to borrow for an event.
Race day starts with registration from 8:30 to 9:30am. Tech inspection closes at 10:00am. Timed runs follow the mandatory Drivers Meeting.

you're more than welcome to it dan, just let me know.
the NHSCC typically has some loaner helmets available at the timing trailer, but it's best to have one secured before you arrive just in case they are all already loaned out or do not fit or whatnot.
as a side note this is where i have purchased both of my helmets:

they have some very cheap SNELL rated helmets, that while not the most stylish around, are certainly a great value for the money. especially for an entry level helmet.

yeah, ive been telling dan (steelcityevo) this for a few months, but depending on where i am financially in a year or two... im starting a supra build. i am absolutely in love with those cars. i know i know they're played out and old school, but they're just so sick.
ill be keeping the evo, but im almost 100 percent sure, 2jz gte is my next platform

My buddy james up @ TPG has two supra style platforms.
His old project which i think he is selling (because its just sitting there) is an 89 rx7 with a 1JZ which was totally custom from the firewall to to the muffler.
And his most recent project he got like 3 days ago is a 2JZ for his SC400. We pulled the motor out on friday morning, and now he is getting it prepped for the swap..
Fun motor, just soooo expensive in every aspect!!
