I changed out the fluids this weekend on my IX, I used diaqueen for tc and rear and I put BGII in the tranny....All I can say is wow on the BGII, it was night and day from the stock tranny fluid. My trans felt very notchy with the stock fluid after I bought it but since putting the BGII in, its become very smooth. Gears are like butter, it def. likes that fluid...and keeps getting better each mile. Im quite impressed since I only ever used BG1 and never gave a chance to the BGII....So I would recommend that to be used by anyone if your looking for trans. fluid
Plus my car is finally registered after this weekend and my car fiasco is officially over, I dont have to deal with any of the a-holes from the anonymous dealer I went through hell with....feels good to have that weight off my shoulders

Does anyone have a good garage recommendation for inspection and emissions? I have 10 days to get my car done.....Preferably in the wexford area?
I found one called sir richards auto? They are by the Subaru dealer on 19. Anyone know them? They charge $36.95 for inspection and emissions. Baierl wanted $62.....but I may take it to them because I dont want a shady shop messing with my car.
I hate going to garages, I like doing all the work myself but for inspections I cant do that.....I always had my brother-in-law do it for me, it was free but now that I live in Allegheny county he cant do it for me anymore....soooo any help is appreciated

It's a little far from Wexford, but here in Trafford is Locke Automotive...Jim Locke is the owner (and my neighbor ) but he is also THE BEST mechanic I have ever talked to and I won't let anyone else work on my cars. Jim is also the lead instructor at Beaver Run. The guy knows his stuff and is not out joy riding in anything because he races some of the best cars in the world for their owners, so need to "test out" any Evos
Right now in his garage is an original 60's GT40, the 1982 (or 83 - can't remember) Aston Martin Nimrod, which is one of 3 in the world and was actually raced at Le Mans, a built 60's repro Shelby Daytona fastback, and I've seen multiple other big $ cars there.
Local guys would be wise to check him out some time if you have any issues or questions on how to fix/improve your car.
