Obviously you havent been to a IUP homecoming yet?? the last thing you would want to do on homecoming weekend at IUP is attract any attention to yourself!! hahaha there are more cops (state, local help, borough and the horseback ones aswell) waiting to fine you for anything, not counting LCB is all over and undercovers. I dont think you would find an empty lot in town that weekend anyways, nor would i recommend to do it that weekend!!

have fun there though, it will be the first one i missed in 6 years!

Ehh im used to driving my saturn around, it gets no attention... In fact there are NO stickers on the front windshield... (had it replaced, didnt get around to it lol)
Bald tires, driving around burning tire in the rain.... This is actually about my 8th homecoming here ( other family members went to school here) I will have my lawn chair set up in the lazer brothers lawn getting trashed while my GF rides on some stupied sorority float...

Saw a yellow Evo VIII tonight with black wheels at the Diomand Medical Center.. Anyone know whos that was?

IUP homecoming is a blast, I went once while my cousin was in school up there. and there is cops everywhere! I was so hungover on saturday I was barely able to drink that night. The friday before they had ta-kill-ya night and 4 of us finished a handle in under an hr. I think it was like 14 or 15 shots each? They had a mix cd and every time the tequilla song came on you took a shot. Towards the end of the cd it played like 2-3 times in a row.....Unfortunetly when my head hit the table and I fell over I dont rember much except my head in a toilet and 3 guys carrying me to bed..haha. Oh and I remember waking up with a huge headache and my cousin pouring a beer down my throat saying this will help, it didnt at all.....

yeah I dont miss college, especially times like those!

steelcityevo8, yes I'm from altoona and post everywhere.

GNV Motorsports, Pittsburgh is my second home. If you have a meet when I'm in town I'll be their.
My family is coming into town this weekend for a planned fishing trip at Lake Raystown, so I will not be able to make it.

If the weather stays cold however, my bet is it will quickly turn into a beer drinking trip, which is o.k. by me as well!

Have fun at BSD, and when my car has a new clutch in it, you are welcome to take it down the track as well!

FOR SALE:

Used yokohama advans. about 5k miles on them.

tire that was on front passenger side has some inner edge wear.

tire on front driver side has some cupping.

both tires that were on the back are in great shape.

make me an offer, i am tired of looking at them in my basement, and i need some money for my new clutch.

here are some pics, although it is a little hard to see. i can always toss the worst tire and the best tire in the trunk and meet up if you want to check them out.

Hit up prp today turned out decent weather was premium . first run 1.95 60' 12.32@116.32mph. second run 1.81 60' 11.65@122.41mph. third run 1.72 60' 11.64@121.63mph. final run 1.75 60' 11.75@120.87mph. last two runs i was gettin some wheel hop. on the last run i actually had to jump out of the throttle cause it was hoppin so bad. next time i might have to adjust tire pressure i just ran how i pulled up. all passes except the first was ran at 25psi 50/50 104-93 mix. first run was at 24psi and me being a pu$$y!

I just got back from BSD. My friends evo 8 daily driver that I've been helping tune went 12.3 at 116 on pump (how he drives it to and from work). Its a fairly basic car, just flashing the stock ecu. Its funny, he has spent less on his turbo setup than a local kid spent on his AEM setup and is much faster. BSD is an uphill track and we were fighting a 25mph headwind all day.

My personal car, the eclipse went 129mph off the street. A little tweaking of the stock ecu rom and I got her to 130mph on street tires. Bolted up the slicks and went back to mid 11's but at 130mph. Same headwind and the uphill start kills my FWD.

Congrats dan, remember what we talked about!!! you will eventually maximize the **** out of that GT30 and you may shave off 3 or 4 tenths of a second off that puppy once you get the launch/throttle control under ways!!!

best of luck
