well, sweet ***. it was just a little surface chip. dude fixed it in like 10 minutes. the longest part was waiting for the epoxy to dry.
damn cheap too. since he didn't have to drill my windshield or anything it was only 20 bucks.
guy was real nice too. so i am gonna put his info up here in case you guys need any chips or windshields replaced or anything.

Yes...I had the 1990 Blue Mustang with the white hood. I played with that car a little for a few months....but sold it...and picked up the 2006 EVO. I missed driving an EVO too much. I lasted about 5 months without an EVO...it was hell !

i'm pretty damn happy with it travis. no cel lights, which was a very pleasent surprise.
the only real issue i had was getting the rear of it to seal to the resonator pipe. and honestly, that was the fault of mitsu having just too few exhaust hangars. it sagged just a little at the rear of the cat from the weight of the resonator pipe. all i ended up doing was using some exhaust sealant and a breaker bar to tighten down the bolts. problem solved
my only other concern is inspection. do they do a sniffer test in pa if you're CEL free and have a cat on? i guess i have a few months to figure it out.
but i say go for it, it is a good part, and i am happy with it.

Justin,
For inspection all 2003+ cars go by an OBD2 scan. What they do is hook up a computer and it tests the o2 signals. If your rear o2 signal reads the same or more than the front o2, then you will fail. Basically why they do that is, if it reads a lower toxin level on the way out, then you're good.
Also that is just the first part, if you past the first part then you have to pass visual. Which with the perrin, i don't see being a problem.
If you need numbers of people who can do inspections, just let me know.
Thanks,
Steve
