you know, they say on their site it is only a 1/4, but i swear it is longer.
glenn (ozrally) and i went up to zelei last year and were both trapping way too high for only a 1/4 mile. i was running in the 95 - 98mph range at the end of the runway.

95-98 is actually slow for a 1/4 mile trap at the track in an evo.......stock is like 102-105 depending on year and stuff, modified is like 105+ depending on year and mods. Plus if it was longer you should have been even faster yet.
So maybe its shorter than a 1/4 mile?

Also I dont really launch my car that much, have a few times with no clutch smell so far...(They seem to like the quick slip more than a high rpm dump, least from my experimenting). I dont have the money for a new clutch if I would end up frying mine racing so I dont want to go out and launch hard and risk having my car sit because I need it everyday....Thats why I said I would get beat, granny launching and hoping the other car is slow enough to run down but in the 1/8th. it wont happen!

yeah, i realize that a stock evo should trap higher than the mid 90's, but what i am saying is that i don't think there is anyway i should be going that fast in the 1/8th mile. so i am thinking it was longer than an 1/8, but just slightly shorter than a 1/4.

Your making some good power when your going near or over 100 mph in the 1/8th,

oh sorry your post said "1/4 trap" not 1/8th thats why I posted that, simple misunderstanding........but if you meant 1/8th than yes that is really fast in the 1/8th for a stock or near stock evo.
