You have to use the lil plastic vac. line with the compression connector off the gauge and then that install kit comes with a small rubber vac. line that slides over the hard plastic line and then onto the T and then you just install the T in the FPR line or just tap into the existing line for the MR gauge like dave said.
The installed kit comes with the line, the T, and that little splicing hose...its pretty cheap and again just makes life easy.

I was awarded this morning once again with one of my favorite pieces of paper! A fuqing ticket. Ran a red light in Dormont or South Hills, whatever the hell it is. I'm not even trying to fight this one. That's number 4! No I haven't and will not learn my lesson! I think I said the same exact thing after posting the last one, lol!

Okay I need a few opinions from the locals. I've been searching for hours and nobody has any facts, only opinions. The stock 5 speed manual transmission fluid sucks. Period. I changed it out at 16,000 with BG Synchroshift II. It works OK, but I don't like what I'm hearing about it and it's still kind of notchy. Supposedly all of the Penzoil Synchromesh, GM Synchromesh, and BG synchroshifts are not thick enough for true protection. I'm gonna stay away from them. My three options are:
Redline MT90 (Or a mix of Redline MT90 and Redline MTL.)
Amsoil 75-85 or 90
Or the six speed MR tranny oil (I hear it works great in the 5 speeds as well.)

MT90 is excellent. That is what Shep suggests running in the trans he builds... I have been running it in my car for well over 12k (changed it 2 times) and it is amazing. I believe Dave is using it as well, and is very pleased with the results.

MT90 For the win. I run 2qt mt90 and 1qt mtl. I think next time I will go straight MT90.
You can get this stuff fairly cheap.
Go to www.myoilshop.com and call them. They were local but it doesn't look like it anymore. Still worth asking if you can pick it up.
Their prices are still pretty good.

I run straight MT90 and it is much better than stock and the penzoil **** *** that made me get locked out of every gear all the time. I bought mine from pepboys, they never have it in stock but they had it the next day after ordering it. Just go talk to the cashier and order some, it's pretty darn cheap for how important it is.

I use a mix of mistu tranny fluid and 1 qt. of heavy shockproof.... I like it a lot and know a few dsm guys and another evo owner that uses this as well with no issues. The heavy shockproof helps thicken it up and give a little added protection to the gears. I have no notchiness and its smooth as butta
