Hey jeremy, are your ohlins two way adjustable as in compression and rebound?
I wanted to ask your opinion on some settings. At the time trial I still think I was
leaning enough to almost pick a wheel up cause I was getting the hesitation
when trying to power out.

PRP - Test n Tune - Wed night

Anyone going up for test n tune on Wednesday (9/12)? I just got a Mellon Tune map and I am going to log some runs on the track...and see what happens. It will be interesting to compare my 1/4 mile times with this tune compared to Dynoflash tune. The nice thing about the Mellon tune is I can send him logs and he will tweak it for me.

I know some other tuners do the same thing...so we shall see how this goes....

Mike my shocks are single adjustable. I would say if your picking up wheels, i'd either think about a front sway bar, or stiffer spring rates. I get a wheel up alot with my setup. Im not running any crazy spring rates either. For setting on the shocks i started the season with them pretty stiff on compression. I was getting alot of wheel hop on acceleration so i went to a much softer setting and if really helped alot.

You kno Mike. Do you have the ACD? If so, if your getting spinning out of bends i'd try playing with that alittle.

Hmmm...it confuses me cause I can't imagine needing stiffer rates...I'm running
9k (504lbs) up front and 8k (448lbs) in the rear. With mine being double adjustable I haven't even played with the rebound setting yet. I was trying to find some reading material on when to adjust what per a condition but have been unlucky thus far.

You should see the spring rates of most of the prepped auto-x cars. Those are not very high in reality. Like 12-10, or even more. I have experience tunning suspension for Mtn bike. I have 4 way adjustable on the bike. So i kno alittle about what it does. It is very confusing as to how to make it all work together.

I know what you are saying about the spring rates, I guess I looked at it as it's nearly twice as stiff as stock so and I don't have r compounds so can't believe I'd lift a wheel. Guess I'll just have to do some trial and error eh?
