travis is defintely the man you want.
hey travis, by the way, i heard you swapped your exhaust manifold for a ported one recently. how did all that go?
the evo 8/9 manifolds are the same right?
i am pretty certain they are, but just wanted to make sure the flange for the turbo was the same.

Well I was going to when I was back at my parents for Thanksgiving but my stainless steel manifold studs didn't show in time......so I am doing the install over xmas. Hopefully it goes well, I will let you know
Yes the manifolds are the exact same

Its a guy out of Philly......I'm test fitting them for him (he doesn't have access to an evo). If they work he will have the up on his site for sale. I will let you know soon as I try them.....they are very well priced under $40.00 for a complete set (includes nuts).

This is your PSA for today... When they tell you to tighten the **** out of you your t-bolt clamps, do it!
This is the 2nd time this happened to me and in the same spot I thought it was going to be a nice 2nd gear pull down the on ramp. Man was I wrong. Although, I do have to say AAA did come in about 20 minutes and the driver did everything he could to not damage the car so that was a relief.
BTW, Travis, where did you get those huge t-bolt clamps again? I think I need an upgrade.

Sorry to see that Dan, thank goodness for AAA!
Yeah crank the t-bolts down, don't be scared......you aren't going to hurt anything. I make my clamps my b*tch, I don't care what others say
McMaster Carr.....if your at the meet this weekend I can get you setup with sizes and email you what to order, but you don't have stock piping so my current list wont work for you so I need to double check your piping size w/couplers.

Yeah that would be good. I don't want it to happen for a 3rd time, obviously. Last time I just fixed it myself on the side of the road but this time everything was working against me, I swear . The car is lower, I had just put the under tray back on, I had no tools, I was in work clothes, the ground was muddy...

Yea if you get some good mcmaster clamps and crank them down you wont have any issues......Make sure after installation you test them to like 30+ psi with air compressor, one: to check any leaks and two: if nothing blow apart then your fine at 23 psi. Another tip is to re-tighten after a week or two, never hurts
Should of had him pose with a thumbs-up.... It could have made the pictures even better

Hey Justin, I have a brand new aftermarket hotside to O2 housing gasket if you need it. Also be prepared to break some bolts. I have all kinds of extra hardware. Let me know if you need anything.
