Canexican - Trying to think about a place to meet in oakland where there isnt a cluster of cars. You could always swing by my house...its got a driveway so no worries about street parking. If thats cool with you shout me out a PM and ill give you directions and let me know where your coming from. Its real easy. I have a 3inch clearance on my front lip and havent had a single problem yet getting from 376 to my house.

OurLancerEvos...throw me on the list

Guys, what is the drawback of a lightweight flywheel??? I've heard some say that it's harder to launch and such... What's the deal with this? Any guys who have one notice any drawbacks?

I can't speak from personal experience. But from what i've heard, the fact that there is less rotational inertia, the quicker the rpm's will fall when shifting. The other complaint is that it sometimes stalls at idle or has a rough idle.

However, the benefit is that the car is also more willing to rev and it makes it easier to rev-match when heel-toeing.

Personally, if I could do my clutch install over, i would have tried a lightweight flywheel...

depends on how light you go. i had a prostreet 10.5lb in my blue evo. it was slightly harder to start on a hill and slightly harder to launch. just slightly though, and by slightly, i mean barely noticeable.

since our stock flywheel is so light anways, there's really not that much of a difference. in difficulty, but a noticeable gain in rev speed and shift speed.

honestly, i liked it alot better because with the clutch, flywheel, and short shifter, i could switch gears as fast as i could make my limbs move.

I already have it, I was just wondering what to expect. I've heard a few guys complaining, that's all. It's going in either way.

Its really not that much different Brian. I swear tho it made me faster! I like the car so much better with the new clutch.

Here is a pretty good deal if anyone is interested in tires. http://www.racepa.com/content/index....;topicseen#new
